Compared
to single-part glues, EpoxyHeads epoxy has twice as many parts.
That may be too many parts for some. Short of taking out an entire
part, our chemists have greatly reduced the grief factor, making
EpoxyHeads very easy to use. If you're into building things
and making your own repairs, you'll really appreciate what
that extra part (think of it as the high-performance factor) gets
you—new techniques, new combinations of materials, new problem-solving
strategies. EpoxyHeads can change how you think about building
and repair. When you believe you can build it better than you
can buy it, and minor repairs become opportunities for major improvement,
you’ll realize that EpoxyHeads is more than an uncommon
name and is greater than the sum of its parts.
Here are some practical things you can do with Epoxyheads. (It
works great on impractical things too).
Bond (glue) For
repair and construction you can make strong joints between wood,
metals, fiberglass, tile, masonry, concrete, plaster, plastics
and composite materials. High-strength, long-lasting and moisture
resistant, EpoxyHeads provides a bond that in most cases is stronger
than the materials being bonded as proven in tests here at EpoxyHeadquarters.
Adjustable gap-filling properties ensure a great bond, even with
poorly matched surfaces.
Protect Apply a
superb moisture-resistant coating to seal and protect wood. Fence
posts, sills, patio furniture, outdoor projects—if it's
going to get wet, EpoxyHeads will help it resist rot and last
longer.
Install hardware fasteners Bond door hinges, anchor bolts, carriage
bolts, and threaded rods. Repair stripped and oversized fastener
holes. Dramatically increase the load carrying capacity of screws
and other threaded fasteners.
Fill & smooth
Fill low areas, bridge gaps, and smooth and prepare surfaces for
final finishing. EpoxyHeads Epoxy, thickened with our Easy-Sanding
Filler, is used for everything from replacing rotted wood to auto
body repair.
Reinforce Apply
Fiberglass tape, fiberglass cloth and other fabrics with EpoxyHeads
Epoxy to provide structural reinforcement and abrasion protection.
Laminate Bond multiple
thin layers of plywood, veneer and other materials to create custom
panels. Laminates can be molded into flat panels or shaped into
curved panels or beams that could not be achieved with a single
layer of materials.
Build & repair composites
Laminate layers of fiberglass cloth and other fabrics like carbon
fiber and Kevlar™ to core materials like balsa and foam
to create very lightweight yet rigid composite structures. You
can't do that with ordinary, single-part glues.
